the gkf one minutes in foam
For the 65th birthday of the Dutch association of professional photographers GKf, students from several photography institutes in the Netherlands were asked to make a one minute about a GKf photographer. The new generation of photographers presenting the history of the GKf. A jury will nominate five one minutes and the winner will be announced during the GKf festival in Foam, Amsterdam.
Jury members are Aliona van der Horst, Jos Houweling, Annelies Kuiper, Annaleen Louwes and Leo Erken.
Participating institutes are Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, Utrecht School of the Arts, AKV St.Joost Breda, Fotovakschool and Photo Academy.

The radio station Controradio, the cultural association GRAV, the Luigi Pecci Center of Contemporary Art, in collaboration with the Region Tuscany, City of Prato, township of Prato, and Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze, announce the VIDEOMINUTO 2010 selection of video works with a maximum duration of one minute . The selection is open to all works, original, synthetical, quick, totally free in form and language and without any form of censorship.
The news for 2010 is the introduction of a competition on a subject that will go with our traditional competition "1.000 EUR for 1 Minute". The subject for the edition 2010 is "Diary from the age of permanent present" and it has ispired the author Tommaso Pincio to write a short novel as a kind of introduction to this special competition of Videominuto 2010.

The DEADLINE for video entry has been prolonged to Friday 23rd of July 2010!

YouTube, and the Guggenheim Museum have partnered to search for creative online videos. The competition is called "YouTube Play. 20 videos will be presented at the Guggenheim in New York on October 21. Entrants must submit a video up to 10 minutes and a written statement to YouTube.com/play.

The One Minutes – это видео длинной ровно в 60 секунд. Это одна минута свободы, в которой автор решает, что должно быть видно. Это совещания, конфронтации и мечты.
The One Minutes также являются блюдом с шоколадными конфетами.
Фонд The One Minutes является ведущей мировой сетью видео-художников. Мы управляем архивом содержащим более 12.000 видео. Мы стимулируем художников делать видео длинной в одну минуту и показывать их на высоком уровне. Для этого мы организовываем семинары, ежегодный международный конкурс видео и мы также сотрудничаем с разными фестивалями, музеями, телеканалами и инициативами художников со всего мира.

Эти работы также будут включены в выставку Сity One Minutes которая состоится в мае 2010 в Шанхае, во время Всемирной Выставки. После этого выставка будет путешествовать по всему миру. Возможно и в Россию.
The One Minutes считает что Российские художники должны присутствовать в нашей большой сети видео – арта и видит Россию важной площадкой для выставок и презентаций.
Поэтому мы будем стараться расширить нашу деятельность в России в период 2010-2012 годов. Это возможно только если Российские художники и учреждения заинтересованны принять участие в наших проектах.
