In the framework of the Filmfestival Oostende, deBuren and Vrijstaat O. organise an encounter with the creators of the City One Minutes Brussels, Ostend, Venice and Ghent. Amongst others Els Opsomer, Bavo Defurne and Wannes Peremans will present their short movies and talk to Kurt Vandemaele (ex-Humo).

Like the One Minutes, your One Minute Dance Film could be a (self) portrait, a short story, an animation or anything you like, as long as the video is precisely one minute long and has dance as central theme. So grab your camera and start shooting your grandmother, little brother or yourself dancing and send your video before 15 September to info@nederlandsedansdagen.nl. All films are presented on our website, the best fifteen are shown during festival de Nederlandse Dansdagen (Dutch Dance Festival) and the best One Minute will be awarded with a national broadcast at NTR Podium! VIDEOMINUTO 2010
The radio station Controradio, the cultural association GRAV, the Luigi Pecci Center of Contemporary Art, in collaboration with the Region Tuscany, City of Prato, township of Prato, and Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze, announce the VIDEOMINUTO 2010 selection of video works with a maximum duration of one minute . The selection is open to all works, original, synthetical, quick, totally free in form and language and without any form of censorship.
The news for 2010 is the introduction of a competition on a subject that will go with our traditional competition "1.000 EUR for 1 Minute". The subject for the edition 2010 is "Diary from the age of permanent present" and it has ispired the author Tommaso Pincio to write a short novel as a kind of introduction to this special competition of Videominuto 2010.
ATTENTION:
The DEADLINE for video entry has been prolonged to Friday 23rd of July 2010!
